LAHORE - Oct 4th, 2025 -  Education has the power to change lives — and Adopt2Educate Founder Arsal Shami is on a mission to make sure no child is left behind.
During his recent visit to Al-Kitab School of Technology near Rana Town, Shahdara, Arsal delivered a heartfelt message to donors, urging them to take ownership of the nation’s future by supporting the education of underprivileged children.
“I appeal to all donors to help at least 10 students for their education and better future,” he said, addressing a hall filled with educators, philanthropists, and media personalities. “Supporting one student costs just Rs9,000 — this is not a big demand. The help of one child is the help of an entire family. Help 10 children, and you are uplifting 100 people.”
For Arsal, this is more than charity — it’s a lifelong commitment. Having been actively involved in community service for the past eight to nine years, and working with Al-Kitab School of Technology for the last three, he has witnessed firsthand how access to education can transform lives.
His passion led him to create Adopt2Educate, a digital platform designed to connect donors directly with deserving students. The idea, he explains, is to bring transparency and sustainability into the process of educational sponsorship.

“Adopt2Educate is a scalable and transparent digital system connecting donors directly with students,” Arsal said. “Through this platform, donors can easily access students’ profiles, academic records, and progress updates online — replacing outdated methods like pamphlets. The idea is to ensure that donors know exactly where their contributions go.”
At the event, renowned journalist Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami praised Arsal’s innovative approach, saying that using technology to build trust and visibility in educational donations could change the way society supports learning.
Chughtai Lab CEO Umar Chughtai, Suki Kinari Hydropower Project CEO Danish Khan, Momentum Media CEO Salman Danish, General retired Amir Riaz, businessmen Imtiaz Ahmed Cheema, Irfan Khan, Usman Rasool and others also visited the school.

Arsal also shared the personal motivation behind his project — a promise he made to himself.
“I made a promise that Adopt2Educate must be a sustainable initiative — it should continue whether I remain part of it or not,” he said.
The message resonated deeply with the audience. A banner on stage read, “Adopt Today and Transform Tomorrow,” capturing the essence of the movement — small acts of giving that can ripple into generational change.
The ceremony brought together a mix of educators, philanthropists and community leaders along with a large number of donors, teachers, and students. Guests toured different sections of the school and interacted with students who shared their experiences and aspirations.
Students also delivered powerful speeches on various topics, showcasing confidence and brilliance — a testament to the nurturing environment at Al-Kitab School of Technology, where children from both privileged and underprivileged backgrounds study side by side.

Teachers highlighted the school’s commitment to inclusivity and quality education, while donors expressed satisfaction over the facilities and academic performance of the students.
The event concluded with Arsal Shami personally distributing food among the children — a simple yet meaningful gesture that reflected his belief in compassion-driven leadership.
“This isn’t just about educating one child,” Arsal said before leaving the stage. “It’s about empowering a community — and shaping the future of our country.”
